While releasing trapped energy in my body and igniting my chakras with divine love and godly energy (as cliché as that may sound), a thought crossed my mind. The fleeting nature of orgasms and how much effort many of us invest to experience those mere moments of pure bliss. I nearly allowed myself to slip into this three-dimensional way of thinking, wondering about the purpose. It’s an ecstasy so transitory, often used as an escape from a bewildering reality. And, naturally, I’m aware of the mechanics behind it all, having delved into the study of tantra, Taoist sexuality, sexology, and sacred practices. Yet, there are still moments when your mind questions whether it’s just temporary relief from something, a distraction, or even a crutch.

Then, it dawned on me why self-pleasure holds such deep significance in my life. It’s a fleeting flash of moments that ignites self-love, presence, bliss, and a connection to an unknown realm within you. It’s about connecting with the source, with God. Your sexuality isn’t solely about connecting with another human; it’s about connecting with the divine, the highest. It’s a reminder that you have the power to create a container, a sanctuary within your mind, that leads you to the same blissful state. Engaging in self-pleasure becomes a form of meditation when approached with intention. Sexual union with another being becomes a trinity with the divine. As we delve into the intricate layers of our sexuality, we discover so much more beneath the surface, which is why our culture either represses or exploits it, dimming the inherent power that arises from opening this sacred vessel.

We all trace our origins to the act of creation, to the source, to the mother. We entered this world through the portal of our fathers, carrying generations of ancestral history. The most beautiful path to rediscovering ourselves is by journeying back to the source of all that exists. This transcends time and space, guiding us to the moments when we were brought into being. It’s where universes originate and love resides. This journey involves healing the weight of repression while honoring our gateway into this beautiful life.
